Adorable, sweet, FUN wedding coming atcha today! Alix + Sean’s wedding day at The Mansion on Main Street was nothing short of amazing. The details were gorgeous, Alix was absolutely STUNNING, there was so much thought and care that went into planning the perfect day. But my favorite part of this day was, without a doubt, the people. When I met Alix + Sean, I knew they were MY people – fun, easygoing, quick to laugh, hard to temper. But I had no idea that EVERYONE (from parents, to grands, to bridesmaids, and every guest) were gonna be the same exact way.

I left last weekend sore from dancing, cheeks hurting from smiling. And that’s exactly how it should be.

Meet Sean – easygoing teacher who didn’t even bat an eye when I started taking photographs from within the bathroom.

Moments with mamas are always my favorite. They still remember the day you were born and they cannot believe you’re getting married.

THIS MOMENT. THIS MOMENT is why I LOVE being a wedding photographer. The chance to capture these pieces of time. Sure, I love all the pretty stuff and how everyone is happy all day long, but I live for these moments.

And I live for these ones too. HA.

First look feels.

Alix + Sean decided to read their vows to each other before the ceremony so that they could really hear them + savor them. This was right after they read them to each other.

I definitely asked too much of this group when I asked them to cheer for the couple. But when someone suggested booing them, they all happily jumped on board. HA!
