The Quigleys // NJ Maternity Photographer

Bridget is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Right from the start, I adored her: her email to me was full of exclamation points and her bubbly, good-natured personality spilled out everywhere. I love when people can’t contain themselves within a period, and they litter emails with all kinds of punctuation. I’ve been known to send emails where every single line ends !!!

So when this gorgeous mama (who is also an aspiring photographer) asked me to photograph her little family, I was smitten. And since our first email exchange, I’ve just grown to adore her more.. when we finally met up one July night, I fell in love with her adorable family too. First of all, her husband’s name is Brandon too. That gets immediate points since I’m terrible with names, and that’s a no brainer (I did have to watch myself with calling him “babe” though, since that’s usually what I call my Brandon…). And then, little Kai? Well, not only was he the CUTEST but he LOVED me! He’s totally gonna be my big helper when baby Quigley is born.

And now, check out this gorgeousness. Does this family not belong in a magazine? SERIOUSLY.

Then I asked the lovebirds to get a few photos together.. I’m so glad that I did. I adore these..

 

The only thing that could make them more perfect is a sunflower field. Well, what do you know..

 

And, I’ll end on this. After a few “artistic shots”, Kai said to me “we need to take a picture of me and mommy’s belly”. I was all “oh, yeah? what kind of picture?” and he was like “like this”.

Clearly, he is a photographer’s child. Cause, I just love the heck out of this shot.

 

Bridget, Brandon, + Kai – I had the BEST night with you guys. I seriously adore you all, and I cannot wait to meet little baby Quigley! xoxo
