Estee + Jesse // NJ Engagement Photographer

When I first talked to Estee via a phone consultation many, many months ago, I liked her immediately. We chatted for what felt like mere minutes (but was actually hours!) about her beautiful upcoming wedding at the Crossed Keys Inn. Estee was so warm and sweet over the phone that I wasn’t surprised that I loved her the moment I met her in person – and the same goes for Jesse that she talked so lovingly of. These two are some of my favorite people, and they were some of my favorite to photograph.

I met up with these two crazy kids a few weeks ago at Jesse’s parents beach house (on the water – legit amazing!) to capture some photos of them and their adorable pup before we headed over to Asbury Park. Prepare to smile!

 

 

Jesse built this dune system at the bottom of the house. Sand dunes on the Jersey shore are pretty common and they help protect inland areas from storm surges, hurricanes and flood waters. Jesse lives for his dune system, so he could probably elaborate waaaaaaay better than me, but that’s the gist of it. Jesse is a super happy guy – full of smiles and laughs – but when talking about the dune system, he was calm and focused. He was so totally in his element!

So clearly I had to get some photographs of them and his handiwork..

 

Next we headed off to the boardwalk and took advantage of some of the gorgeousness that is the Asbury Park boardwalk..

 

They are seriously so fun, right?! Jesse + Estee know two speeds: super in love, or hysterically laughing at/with each other. It was contagious.

 

Then we headed down to the beach. Seriously, I didn’t think that they could get any cuter. But they did.

 

Jesse bought Estee this hat for the session. I mean, how cute is that?!?!
